Providence Friarcast: It Was the Best of Times, It Was the Worst of Times, 1-1 Week and Big East Play Begins
I spent some time with Mike Hopkins and Brian Reddy on Monday night to review the week that was and preview the week ahead (links to listen or watch below). Among the topics we discussed:
What do we want to see happen differently going forward based on what we saw vs. URI (lineups, rotations, playing styles, etc.)? I provide additional thoughts in this extended reflection from Sunday night.
What do we expect from DePaul on Tuesday (Answer: lots of shooting) and how do we think the coaching staff can counteract that? What do we expect from St. Bonaventure on Saturday (Answer: less clear2, but probably very little bench production and maybe some zone)?
“Remember Some Guys” takes us to the end of the Rick Barnes Era and start of Pete Gillen’s tenure with a criminally underrated shooting guard — Michael Brown.
