Providence Friarcast: Where do we go from here? Previewing BYU, URI
We’re back with the Providence Friarcast after a disappointing trip to The Bahamas (capital “T” in “The Bahamas” I’ve learned). The Friars try to bounce back Tuesday night vs. BYU before visiting Rhode Island on Saturday.
We start with what happened at the Battle 4 Atlantis both on the court — three losses — and off the court — the drama surrounding Bryce Hopkins availability.
We previewed difficult matchups with BYU (including the challenge of facing a likely lottery pick) in the Big East-Big 12 Battle on Tuesday followed by a trip to the Ryan Center to play undefeated Rhode Island on Saturday — the time is now for the Friars to rebuild their confidence and grab some quality wins.
We took brief detours to discuss the release of the NET (more ugliness for the Big East) and the reaction from the PC burners to the drama that took place in The Bahamas (summary: grow up, guys)
“Remember Some Guys” takes us back to the end of the Keno Davis Era and start of the Ed Cooley Era to a guy who loved to get his buckets and rebounds: Bilal Dixon (featuring a SportsCenter Top 10 play you won’t want to miss)
